A good idea - the Zug "Stadtbahn"

The "Stadtbahn" - a local commuter train service - and the newly organised bus network, have provided Canton Zug with a modern and durable means of public transport, bringing qualitative and quantitative improvements to services in the public sector for the whole of the region. The Zug "Stadtbahn" runs on the Swiss Federal Railways' existing tracks. The no. 1 train goes from Baar via Zug to Cham every 15 minutes in both directions, and from there every half-hour on to Ebikon and Lucerne: train no. 2 runs hourly from Zug via Oberwil and Walchwil on to Arth-Goldau and Erstfeld.
