Tobogganing and Cross-Country Skiing in Engelberg

Cross-Country Skiing:
Network of trails in the Engelberg valley with a variety of different routes. There are wide, fast sectors for skating, but also sections demanding technique and condition. The course stretches over the whole area from Gerschnialp to Untertrübsee, and is also suitable for the more laidback skier. This interesting course offers some short steep ascents, and some longer ones, as well as lovely sections through the deep snow of the Gerschni forest. The extended World-Cup route near the Sporting Park is floodlit Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Tobogganing:
For sledding fans, Engelberg offers the optimal network of three different sled runs. The runs guarantees a lot of fun and a great time between 700m and 3.5 km. Fun for old and young alike. You can ride the chair lift up the mountain or by walk, and then it?s all downhill on your runners from there. Racing down to the valley on the sled run is just as much a part of the winter sports experience.
