Tell Museum

The museum houses a comprehensive collection of documents and objects of historic and artistic interest from six centuries on the subject of the hero for freedom, William Tell.
Bürglen, the charming Tell village with the tower is very old. A document from King Ludwig of Germany confirms that Bürglen was under the patronage of the Fraumunster Convent in Zurich as early as the year 857. Bürglen has always been regarded as William Tell's birthplace.
