Frauenthal Convent

The delicious products made by the nuns there have been famous for over 200 years: you must try the gingerbread, the "Krapfen", the dried apple pieces or other specialities available in their own little shop. We recommend going to Frauenthal by bicycle, but you can also get there easily by public transport or car, and you could combine a visit to the convent with an excursion to the Bützen restaurant to see the storks - it is 20 minutes' walk from the convent.
