Museum of Prehistory

The Museum was opened in 1997 and designed particularly with families in mind.
In the exhibition room archaeological finds from Canton Zug are displayed, as well as life-size figures of people and models of settlements for each of the six prehistoric ages (Late Stone Age to Early Middle Ages). The gallery area has been designed especially for children with games and books, and one room is fitted out with wooden show-cases from the old museum of the 1930s.
